UV/Eco-Solvent Waterslide Opaque Paper for Dark helmets with Baking Process

Step 1. Print patterns by UV / Eco-Solvent printers

Step 2. Cut patterns by vinyl cutting plotters 

Step 3: Step 3. Submerge you pre-cut decal in 30~55°C (Celsius) water for about 30~60 seconds or until the middle of the decal can easily slide around. Remove from water.

Step 4. Slide the printed side up onto the crafts, and gently scrape away the water droplets and air bubbles between the printed side and the crafts with a damp towel (polyester/nylon blends) or soft rubber scraper

Step 5. Air dry for 2 hours

Step 6: Spray and cover with two-component (2K) polyurethane clear coat or acrylic clear coat for protection. The sprayed area should extend at least 2 mm beyond the graphic to achieve better gloss, hardness and wash resistance.

Step 7: Baking is mandatory. Bake at 70°C~90°C for 60 to 120 minutes. The baking temperature and duration must be set under the premise that the plastic does not deform. Optimal baking parameters need to be pre-tested. After baking, cool naturally to room temperature to get the finished product. Do not scratch, wipe or pick the finished item. Allow a minimum of 24 hours of natural resting time to attain the best adhesion.
